The women’s varsity volleyball team’s quest for its first win continues as the squad lost to Cypress Christian on Thursday.

Losing the match in three sets, the team received another upsetting loss.

“We’ve lost all of our games so far, and it seems like our mistakes in every game are the same,” said Julia Coelho ‘19.

“We have to communicate more,” Julia said. “Everybody knows how to play, but we need to play more like a team and have fun.”

Team member Hannah Huston ‘20 agrees: “We would have done way better if we would have just communicated more. We try to improve our communication with every game.”

Nevertheless, Hannah remains hopeful about the game against Logos Prep next week, believing that the team will be able to come away with the win.

Until then, however, the team’s quest continues.
