Student athletes from a range of schools crossed the finish line in muddy shoes on a not-so-sunny Saturday morning.

The Cross Country Team competed at the annual Willow Waterhole Greenspace Conservancy meet on September 29, 2018. The runners have been preparing for this meet since before the school year started.

“We do a program in the summer called ‘Wills Hills’. The team runs during the summer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.” said Bret Ramsey.

The team also runs every year during the school year on Mondays through Fridays.

The runners’ hard work paid off at the meet. The Varsity boys came in 5th place, while the Varsity girls came in 6th overall. The middle school boys finished in 9th place.
