Sometimes we forget how blessed we are to go to school, even now, after Hurricane Harvey has caused schools to shut down for the rest of the year.

There are few movies that remind one of the importance and life-changing quality of education like Dead Poets Society.

Robin Williams is at his best as an English teacher that transforms his students’ lives through poetry. Besides teaching them, he mentors and encourages them, inspiring them to be ambitious in their pursuits inside and outside the classroom.

In addition to Robin Williams wonderful performance, Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard, Gale Hansen, and others make up a strong supporting cast.

The movie is currently streaming on Netflix.
